Highland Pipes And The Royal Edinburgh Tattoo

After our local pick ups we start our journey towards Scotland, making regular comfort stops en route and with a full hostess refreshment service on board. Arriving at our hotel in time for evening meal.

This morning after breakfast we enjoy a visit to cosmopolitan Glasgow, Scotland's second city. Take in the main sights, hit the shops or discover the rich history and heritage of this fascinating city. This afternoon we visit the Museum of Piping at The National Piping Centre to explore 300 years of Scotland’s musical history, and try the bagpipes for yourself. Enjoy fascinating films on the history, culture and music of the bagpipe and enjoy a whistle stop video-tour of our Piping Live! music festival.

After an early lunch we make our way to Edinburgh, Scotland's magnificent capital for some time at leisure. Later we take our seat for the superb Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, acclaimed by many as the most spectacular show in the world. It is a unique and memorable celebration of music, dance and pageantry.

After a relaxed start, we travel to Stirling, one of Scotland’s most historic cities. Explore its charming streets, take in the views, and perhaps visit the magnificent Stirling Castle (entry not included), a key site in Scotland’s royal and military history.

Today we start our journey home, making regular stops as we head back into Dorset.
