Trago Mills Shopper

Trago is the Original Discount Store selling 100,000 products at the best possible price. It was founded by Mike Robertson (father of our Chairman Bruce) in the 1960’s and quickly built a reputation for “piling it high and selling it cheap”! The original store was an abandoned gunpower factory called Trago Mill near Liskeard. One of the early best sellers were Russian wellies being sold for the equivalent of 12p a pair or two pairs for 22p! The farmers loved them and Trago’s fame started to spread across Cornwall and other parts of the South West. We will be visiting their Newton Abbot Store.
