After our pick ups we head up towards London, we include a short stop en route in Basingstoke to allow time for you to purchase lunch if you wish, before heading to our well appointed hotel near Heathrow Airport, with time to get ready before heading to the Earls Court for this fabulous event. The purchase of food is available within the venue if you wish.

Today after a leisurly breakfast we rejoin our coach and head to the fabuluos Muiscal Museum. The Musical Museum is the custodian of a remarkable collection of instruments and inventions, with a range of exhibits that you can see (and hear!) on display: See – and hear - instruments and inventions that have captured, replayed and generated music from past centuries to the present day. A piano that can reproduce performances recorded by world-famous pianists. A violin that can play itself! Have you heard an Edison Phonograph? Or a jukebox that plays 78rpm records? The electronic organ that changed the sound of pop music? See if you agree with Charles Babbage (the “father of computing”) that one instrument should have been banned... Marvel at the Mighty Wurlitzer Cinema organ designed to accompany silent films, but which became an attraction in its own right. For contemporary music fans (and gadget enthusiasts), there's a whole gallery devoted to the history of music synthesis and Korg electronic instruments. All these and more are demonstrated by the amazing volunteers. There's also a café. We leave here mid afternoon and return to Dorset.
