Discover Agatha Chrsistie On The English Riviera

After our pick ups we drive into Devon and enjoy a private visit to Ugbrooke House and gardens. It was at Ugbrooke House, a grand mansion in Chudleigh, that Agatha Christie met Lieutenant Archibald Christie. Later we continue to our hotel.

Today, after breakfast we meet our guide. We head into central Torquay where you enjoy a short relaxed walking tour around the harbour area. Then we rejoin our coach with our guide and enjoy a drive to some of the popular locations including Agatha memorial bench and statue, the Pavilion, Torquay Pier and the hospital and pharmacy where she worked during WW1. We then head to Kents Cavern and enjoy a private tour of the caves ending with a delicious Devon Cream Tea.

Today we enjoy a visit to Greenway House. This relaxed and atmospheric house is set in the 1950s, when Agatha and her family would spend summers and Christmases here with friends.

Today we offer an Optional Excursion with a visit to Dartington Estate, a beautiful and historic destination with stunning gardens. One place known to Agatha Christie is Dartington Hall, a magnificent Tudor mansion on the doorstep of Totnes. We end the day with a fabulous scenic drive across Dartmoor. £25

After breakfast we leave our hotel for the last time and enjoy a scenic steam railway journey and ferry boat into Dartmouth. After some free time to explore we rejoin our coach and head towards home.
