Festival Of Quilts Birmingham NEC

After pickups we make our way North with a visit to Forge Mill Needle Museum and enjoy a guided tour. This historic site illustrates the rich heritage of the needle and fishing tackle industries. Models and recreated scenes provide a vivid illustration of how needles were once made, and how Redditch once produced 90% of the world’s needles. Later we continue to our well positioned hotel, with time to relax before our evening meal.

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to the NEC at Birmingham for a full day at the Festival of Quilts Show.

After breakfast we return to the NEC at Birmingham for another day visiting the Festival of Quilts Show. We leave here late afternoon and return to our drop off points.
