MONDAY
After our pick ups we drive north and start our day with a visit to Wightwick Manor and Gardens (NT), a house designed in the ‘Old English’ style by Midlands architect Edward Ould and built for his parents. A Victorian half-timbered manor house which was home of the Mander family with a world-class art collection, Morris and Co. interiors and gardens designed by Thomas Mawson.
TUESDAY
We start with a visit to Chatsworth House, with the majestic house, 105-acre garden, farmyard and acres of parkland to explore; Chatsworth offers the opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime. We end the day with a visit to Bakewell - a picturesque market town that crosses the River Wye in the heart of the Peak District National Park.
WEDNESDAY
Today the choice is yours. Either relax and explore Buxton or join us for an optional excursion to visit to the Heights of Abraham by cable car, where we also visit 2 caverns, a view point and exhibition. Afterwards we will enjoy a scenic drive through some of the spectacular Peak District National Park, including Snake Pass. £40
THURSDAY
After breakfast we rejoin our coach and drive to Kedleston Hall (NT), a stunning 18th-century mansion with Adam interiors, colonial history and vast parkland. In the afternoon we relocate for a fascinating visit to Masson Mills - Sir Richard Arkwright's 1783 water powered cotton spinning mill built on the banks of the River Derwent at Matlock Bath, this is the northern gateway to the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.
FRIDAY
Today we start our journey home and en route enjoy a visit to Berrington Hall, a neoclassical mansion by Henry Holland set in 'Capability' Brown's final landscape and gardens. We return to our drop offs early evening.

The Palace Hotel and Spa is located in the spa town of Buxton. Since 1868, the Palace Hotel has been a prominent building in Buxton, set in five acres of stunning landscaped gardens and in easy walking distance of the town centre.
