Paris & Notre Dame … Your Floating Hotel On The Seine

After pickups we make our way to Dover for our short ferry crossing across to Calais. Once in Calais we will make our way to Paris and our floating hotel on the River Seine in time for our welcome cocktail and 3-course dinner.

Today after breakfast, we will board our coach for a panoramic guided tour of Paris. You will discover the renowned sights and attractions of this magnificent city. We will return to our floating hotel for lunch and in the afternoon make our way to Notre Dame. We return to our boat for a gala evening and dinner. Depending on the water level, we may also cruise to the business district of La Defence during the course of the evening.

Join us for a guided tour of Montmartre. Located at the very heart of the 19th century village, the Sacre-Coeur Basilica has remained one of the favourite models for all-time painters, sculptors and poets alike. Enjoy free time in Paris this afternoon. Since we are docked just a few minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero gardens, and the Invalides is just a little further away, it is easy to visit Paris at your leisure. We will cruise through Paris by night (depending on the water level), floating through the beautifully illuminated city, particularly attractive when viewed form our vantage point on the Seine.

After breakfast this morning we will retrace our steps back to Calais and our ferry over to Dover, where we will make our way back to our drop offs.

Your floating hotel will be docked on the River Seine in the centre of Paris, near the Eiffel Tower. Vessels are spacious, well appointed and have a refined air. Facilities include a bar and restaurant. Cabins are tastefully decorated and all with air-conditioning, shower and toilet, television, safe and hairdryer. Most vessels are with twin decks and without a lift. Please note that meals on board are a set menu. Drinks are included with your meal. This hotel does not offer tea/coffee making facilities.
